باسكرفيل عربي مصمم عام ٢٠١٨، وهو مصنف كخط نسخي يستخدم كخط محتوي. وهو مستوحي من الخط اللاتيني باسكرفيل. يتميز باسكرفيل عربي بوضوح حروفه و سهولة قرائته مما يجعله مناسباً للنصوص الطويلة. يحتوي النمط العادي علي وزنين، العادي و الداكن، بالأضافة إلي أسلوب أكثر عفوية و هو أيضاً يحتوي علي وزنين، العادي و الداكن.ل
لقد صمم كل حرف بطريقة تضمن الحفاظ علي ضربات القلم السميكة و الرفيعة كما هي في فن الخط. القراءة المستمرة ايضاً هي التي وحهت تصميم الأنماط المختلفة في الخط لخلق لون متشابه علي الصفحة، فملمسهم المميز يخلق نبرات للأصوات المتعددة بالنص، دون تشتيت للقارئ.ذ
“Baskerville Arabic”, designed in 2018, it is categorized as a “Nasky” type. It is used as a text type, also it is a modern typeface. This typeface is inspired from the Latin typeface “Baskerville”. It is characterized that it is an easily readable typeface.It offers two weights Regular and Bold, as well as an informal style that also offers the same two weights (Regular and Bold).
Every letter was designed to ensure the extreme thick and thin pen strokes of calligraphy that are preserved. Also the different styles of it were designed with continuous reading in mind and create a similar color on the page; their clearly distinguishable textures offer different tones for different voices in text without distracting the reader.
