Since I have started my everyday practice I start to change day by day. I have found a time gap, which allows me to feel the moment slower and longer. Not so far ago I realized that calligraphy means for me mostly the rhythms and it’s masses in the space of paper. But at the same time I’d like to see the work with historical roots, that is why I am interested so much in modern application of ancient scripts.

Forms and charisma of Belarusian XV st. cursive inspired me to make this two works. One of them “Etude, copy and signs”  shows how historical form can affect stylistics even in quick brush etude. Second one is about distinctive features of Belarusian cursive. Long tails – is just one of the formal characteristics of this script.
