The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) celebrated Hag Al Laila, an annual occasion that falls in the middle of Sha'aban, the eighth month in the Islamic Hijri calendar. Hag Al Laila is one of the UAE’s community events that is associated with the heritage of the country, its culture and its traditions. Members of the DHA family gathered around several songs and traditional activities in the presence of His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the DHA. During his participation in the event, Al Qutami stressed the importance of such events, as they provide the DHA with a positive work environment and strengthen relations between employees. In the early hours of the morning, the Authority's corridors and health facilities were adorned with a collection of traditional decorations and officials and employees exchanged greetings on the occasion of the Hag Al Laila and the approaching of the holy month of Ramadan.
