I created this event to bring the Creative Industry to Students.  
In my research, I found that a majority of creatives in Industry are male, however, I look around my university in Aberdeen and here in PBSA (Düsseldorf, Germany) and a majority of the students are female?  Where do they go after they graduate if it is not the Creative Industry?  I wanted show the students that there are successful females that they can use as role models.  These women will encourage the students that they can go wherever they want if they put their mind to it and have faith in themselves and the work that they are producing.

This is why I decided to invite all female creatives to show the female students that they can get anywhere they want to be.

This event has enabled me to network across Germany which has been such an incredible experience.  I hope to continue this idea when I come home to Scotland in August and make it bigger and more broad, for example, creating an all female collective or creating an event similar to this with talks and workshops to encourage and inspire women.
