Shoe Box: Iteration + Extension

Initial "Shoe Box"  branding design & display case concepts (8' x 8' cube)
The color of each display set is coordinated to the colors of the shoe it is displaying
Posters designed around the brand of the specific shoes that were used, also echoing colors found in the shoe
Final product and presentation for critique during Design 2 class on April 26th, 2018.
Display cases are easy to remove from display platforms, making intractability with each shoe box possible. The cases however impose a museum or commercial-like importance to the objects, removing the initial urge to touch the objects right away.
First Shoe Box made, from a recycled Vans sneaker. Features a tie to close mechanism by use of the laces.
Second Shoe Box made, from a recycles Adidas Gazelle shoe. Uses the overlapping tongues of the shoe and laces to close.
Third Shoe Box made, from a recycled Nike Air Jordan sneaker. Featuring a closing mechanism by tying the upper parts together with the laces.
Fourth Shoe Box made, from a recycled Sperry Top-Sider boat shoe. Has a closing mechanism utilizing the upper nose of the shoe and the upper part, as well as the laces.
Fifth Shoe Box made, from a recycled Sketchers Duson-Steno Boot (similar to original Timberland Boots). Using the eyelets and parts of the upper to create its closing mechanism.
