In this series, I have been exploring the ways that one dimensional lines can affect our perception of three dimensional space and shape. By drawing white lines on black paper, my intention was to suggest that the images are being projected behind the surface of the page, rather than sitting above it. The paper acts as a threshold between the viewer and the space beyond.
