A woman stands at her vanity fixing her beautiful red dark brown hair. We catch her reflection in the mirror. Who is this femme fatal? It is none other than the beautiful Rita Hayworth; to others she was formerly known as Margarita Carmen Cansino. It is important to know that as an actress in the film industry, she must acclimate to the conditions and the emotions of any character she is portraying. A perfect combination of seduction and poise lures our attention to be captivated and pulled into a film.
Our story begins in Hollywood, California at Paramount Pictures. It’s summer, 1943 and our story takes us through her journey of being in between two films: One a noir and another a musical. We think we know all there is to a glamorous actress who's life is captured through tabloids and films. But what we don’t know is her dedication to our country under operative efforts far beyond the studio lot. Being an actress is the perfect facade for deceiving the enemy.
As she receives her next and month’s long mission from the head of the Office of Strategic Services (O.S.S.) William Joseph Donovan, in Washington D.C., we follow her while she balances her acting career that puts her right under the enemy’s nose without them even knowing. We follow her on an adventure traveling from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to a hidden Nazi base in Nepal to rescue captured, Staff Sergeant Richard C. Jones, of the 704th Bombardment Squad.
