Musìta is a winery that operates on a hill where once stood an ancient Mosque (musìta in some dialectal forms). The customer asked to create a label for his passito wine that could recall the historicity of the places where it is born. I treasured the millennial design that characterizes our territories: the use of complex Mudejar geometries of Islamic origin, associated with the graphic element of a stylized trinacria, reformulated in a complex pattern like the ceramics - first Arab and then Baroque - of my island, to distill a package that expresses the mystery of history with a contemporary language.
