For the eighth month of my second year of EVRYDYS I continued experimenting combining vectors created in Adobe Illustrator with photographic texture elements-only this time with 100% more color.
I really enjoyed the previous month of EVRYDYS and I felt like I was just beginning to really explore some of the more interesting tools within Adobe Illustrator. I used a lot of the same approaches as the month before, but this time did it in full living color (That's a nineties reference kids).
I used a lot of Photoshop editing on these as well. A lot of time was spent isolating specific shapes/color ranges and using those selections to generate alphas for the texturing effects. I also started to experiment with adding color channel adjustment layers for the first time, a technique that I continue to use to this day over a year later.
