10th grade - Mask - Self portrait
Student answered a series of questions about masks, when and how they are used, and the way they feel they are perceived versus the way they would like to be perceived, before creating a visual representation in the form of a sketch. Student then selected colors and materials which they felt best represented their self. Then choose between creating a mask of their perceived self or their actual self to create with selected materials.
