My dad took me to the beach for the first time when I was 3. As my first time seeing the waves with bubbles I thought it was shampoo and thus the story, " Papa it's shampoo on the sea!!". I drew this for my dad, sent it to him today and awkwardly said, " Happy father's day!" I didn't say this to him for years but I've come to accept that my once-was-a-hero dad is a human being with flaws, with mistakes, with regrets, with things he wants to do but cannot do. He's vulnerable.
