Roots 2018
This poster was made using Golden Section i.e. using Root 2 grid system.
Root 2 possess the special property of being endlessly subdivided into proportionally smaller rectangles. This means that when root 2 rectangle is divided in half, the result is two smaller root 2 rectangles and so on.
It should be also noted that the proportion of the root 2 rectangle approximates, rather closely, golden section proportions. Root 2 proportions are 1:1.41 and golden section proportions are 1:1.618 .
