Architecture Project for Spring Foundation Year Michael Lamar's Spatial Dynamics Studio. A representation of Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim. I wanted to have a focus on Wright's concept on the individual versus the community. By having a ramp, one can have an individual experience with the artwork while also having the understanding that they are part of a bigger community of museum go-ers. I wanted to show that, hence I made a cut out portion of my structure. You can look through and see people on the other side of the museum. Furthermore, I wanted to delineate the skylight of the Guggenheim, so that if you looked from the bottom, you could see the beauty of the skylight.
