DJ'S HOME
A DJ’s living space brings up an interesting question. First we wanted to create a red-black coloured world with unusual design language, a private, extravagant club; but then we realised that the hungarian disc-jockey spends enough time in spaces as such already, hence we moved more into the direction of creating a calm island where he can truly relax. Being a tiny apartment we had to be very creative with our usage of space, so we hid the DJ desk behind a glass plate that was lowered into the dining table, so that we could solve the need for space for both work and dining. The main decorational elements of the apartment are the functional acoustic panels in the studio area, which we were cutting for nights and nights in order to create the best possible result.
