Across the fence: An extended stay in the South Gobi desert. Mongolia

Three years living in a camp on the far side of the world. 

I arrived on a February night straight from the Summer in tropical South America, my first thought was: I should have brought a thicker jacket.

With temperatures varying wildly from -40℃ to 35℃ I had the opportunity of sharing in a very special culture, kind people yet fighters. And living in a Ger, a room with no corners. A miniature circus tent, if you will.
