Cured game meat. That could be a short description of Silvania Gourmet, a company based in the heart of Transylvania, Romania.They challenged me to create beautiful imagery, that would create appetite for the viewer, show off the ingredient list while maintaining a unique, premium oriented style. Products include: sausages, pastrami, mousse, terrines, salami and frozen specialities for grilling. Their line of charcuterie includes meats like wild boar, deer, beef, salmon, tuna or some exotic meat as zebra, kangaroo or mouflon. Photography-wise, I approached every image as a stand alone project, with the exception of some collections like Italian Specialities, which needed to be identical for packaging and advertising purposes. Also techniques like focus stacking, advanced compositing and and real visual effects (smoke and food styling). Images are intensionally shot wider than normal due to the need for multiple copping options for  ads, banners, print and packaging. Having wide sets in the studio, presents its own set of challenges, that hopefully have been met. Enjoy.
