Work I've done for the 2018-19 sports season. I was inspired by the 400 wineries in the area, and tried to capture the feeling through using illustrative imagery, and script type. The "Ride High" script is a heavily modified version of Anchorage.
Whats the deal with the lines in the background? Back in 2016, I created a pattern to represent the city of San Luis Obispo, home of Cal Poly. They are an interpretation of a topographic map (showing elevation) of the mountain ranges in town. The idea behind the pattern is to have something subtle in the background that can be used to tie the city and the school together.
