England Rebrand: Minimal Design
Conceptual design for a new England national football team crest/logo.

The aim was to create a modern, clean, clear and minimal identity that did not incorporate the 'Three Lions'. The solution is a bold new crest which is constructed from four main elements - an English rose, Saint George's Cross, the letter E and a star (to commemorate the team's victory at the 1966 World Cup).

In application, the identity is clear and defined using a strong colour palette and has the ability to be simplified which allows for a broader range of uses across different media whilst still maintaining the team's identity and ethos.
