This series of posters was a truly experimental opportunity, as I used hand lettering and illustration to portray my visualization of The Unknown Soldier by Luc Sante, a step away from my usual direction with organized document presentation, while still working through a problem solving process.

I recently created this project in my experimental typography class after being told to listen to the audio version with a cast of actors reading off every individual line, imagining what each person was experiencing in this detailed writing. I latched onto the most prominent image from each section and then used hand lettering to work around that illustration and recreate the rest of the poem.
