Twenty One is a photographic documentary study on the work of The Big Issue in Birmingham, completed for a university project. The Big Issue is a non-profit charity to help homeless and vulnerably housed individuals out of crisis, and has been running 21 years. I was required to design and create a book for the project, which can be found on Blurb. Below are several photographs from the book showing portraits of various street vendors who sell the magazine in the city centre. This project documents the lives of vendors selling in the centre of Birmingham, and what life is like working with the charity.
