Komuri Eco-Friendly Packaging

Komuri is an eco-friendly packaging for baby products, which can be reused as a mobile and a lamp. People's concerns on the environment have been increasing. Yet, a lot of packaging still produces wastes with plastic and excess amount of paint uses. Komuri is made of woods and designed to have a limited color palette. As newborn babies cannot discern different colors except ones with high contrast, Komuri uses only black paint. In doing so, Komuri's packaging not only maximizes its educational use for babies but also minimizes its paint use, emphasizing its natural and eco-friendly quality. Komuri is a Korean word that describes the movement of new-born babies.
