This poster is a digital painting that was originally an assignment and advertising project for a local smoke shop. My concept behind the design was to create an image of a quality cigar in an alluring environment reminiscent of the ornate vintage smoking rooms. I enhanced the burning portion of the cigar for contrast and the use of soft golden light, breaks the darker sepia tones of the background, and enhances the curls of smoke rising; inviting the consumer to indulge and enjoy.
