West Hildebrand Avenue, San Antonio, Texas. I drive (or take the bus) down this street every day to work, and every day home. Specifically, around 7:12 a.m., I am stopped just before the intersection of Hildebrand and San Pedro waiting for a slow-moving train. Stopping here gives me the time to pause and think about all of the little details I might be missing just sitting there in my car; I've often considered exploring, but never found the right opportunity to do so (and it wouldn't be too comfortable in slacks and heels). That is, until a Sunday afternoon in June--excited about what I'd find.
