Deaf C.A.N., or the Deaf Community Advocacy Network, is a non-profit organization operating out of Sylvan Lake, Michigan. The organization serves the deaf and hard-of-hearing community of southeast Michigan with ASL interpreters, medical resource programs, and counseling.

The organization has been a trusted resource for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community for decades, which was evident with its original logo mark being dated. In an effort to freshen up the organization’s look while offering easy-to-access and understand resources for those not as familiar with the org’s demographic, this new brand style was developed.

The brand saw many stages of research and visual experimentation in order reach its final look. The main idea of the new brand’s messaging was to emphasize Deaf C.A.N.’s role as a “Hands-on Community”.
