I spent my childhood in Shenzhen, a humid, hot and rainy coastal city that barely has winter. There is a typhoon season every summer.
"The rain is coming! Can someone go shut all windows?!"
That's what every child in my hometown hear the most at home during that season.
I cannot even describe how much I miss that.
