WHAT?
Spirulina is a natural “algae” (cyanbacteria) powder that is incredibly high in protein and a good source of antioxidants, B-vitamins and other nutrients. When harvested correctly from non-contaminated ponds and bodies of water, it is one of the most potent nutrient sources available.
WHO?
A packaging project for a social enterprise based in Tamil Nadu, India. It's a project undertaken by Auroville Village Action Group, THEIR MISSION IS To collaborate with rural communities to reveal their innate wisdom and ability to collectively determine and manifest their fullest potential.
Why?
VILLAGE ACTION GROUP'S enterprise development constitutes of livelihood training programs and social enterprise initiatives which offer a large number of trainings, and create self-employment opportunities for members of women’s SHGs to develop livelihood in a sustainable manner.
