    The Reykjanes Power Station (also known as Reykjanesvirkjun) is a geothermal power station located in Reykjanes at the southwestern tip of Iceland, close to Keflavík International Airport. The Power Plant is operated by HS Orka and generates 100MWe from two 50MWe turbines, using steam from a reservoir at 290 °C to 320 °C, which is extracted from wells that are 2.700m deep. The Reykjanes Power Plant houses the Power Plant Earth (Orkuverið Jörð) exhibition, open to the public. Read Less
