Just because the Clippers and the Lakers share an arena doesn't mean they should share a style of logo.
Starting from the first logo under the Clippers name, I researched designs of the team name sake and made a stylized boat with the same number of "sails" as the original.
The wordmark is in Philosopher which was chosen for its similarities with the 1970's font. The numbering is in Geared Slab.
