This is the design process and final outcomes for the cylinder fold-away hanger, designed for aluminium extrusion.
After I took previous designs and present possibilities into consideration, i moved on to some very simple sketching.
After I briefly traced it in CorelDraw, I took it into Solidworks where I developed it further as seen in the following screenshots.

This is a 3D printed prototype of the cylinder hook.
I then rendered it using Photoview 360 and manipulated it using The Gimp.
