All the World's a Stage

Although not mandatory, I produced several short animations which explored the character in their environment, this one being the longest animation from this project.
Although the final product entirely constructed from cardboard and paper, the initial idea was that there would be details to the environment modeled in clay.
This idea was later scratched as the clay models would not be as easy to manipulate and position in the photo shoot.
Over a dozen different objects were designed and created for the final product: from the cashier character and the giant chicken character to tables, chairs, the till, the sauce stand, several individual paintings, as well as food products (chips, salad and chicken).
"All the World's a Stage" was an individual university project developed in 2017. The assignment consisted in portraying a person in their workplace, designing a character from them and building this same character as well as its own set with a chosen artistic influence.

In my case, I chose a cashier that worked in a well-known restaurant chain and developed her character and set with a cubist influence.

I deconstructed the set and used a colour palette which brought together the Cubist movement and the design of the restaurant brand I chose to work with.
