In Belo Horizonte, a city in Brazilian southeast, there is a traditional neighborhood called Bonfim. Mostly of the residences in there were built in an eclectic version of Rococo style. It is where the Casa Rosa do Bonfim (in Brazilian Portuguese, Pink House of Bonfim), a place of social events, is located. It is an authentic space, with an irreverent approach, and much of this perception is due to a simple but powerful intervention: its walls were painted in fluorescent colors, that contrasts with the historical architecture of the own building and its surroundings. To design its visual identity, we sought to follow the same procedures, that is, combining cozy elements to bold contrasts of scales and colors, creating a amusing and dynamic appearance. In the result, the color swatches, the typographic logo and the set of illustrations and patterns evoke the tropical-kitsch spirit found at the house. Read Less

Dessa maneira, a paleta cromática, a assinatura tipográfica e o conjunto de ilustrações e padronagens reforçam a atmosfera tropical-kitsch tão característica do espaço.
