This is Inspiration...
Social campaign

This project was created at the time of first signs of economic crisisin Latvia. So many just let their hands down. I've created these 12postcards so as to awaken in someone an inspiration toreach, to reassess needs and goals, to change ones routine because, I've experienced it myself, that difficulties open up new possibilities.
Along with these postcards, together with Goldbrands creative agency we made a social campaign witch included competition of videoshorts, interviews and filming of people met on the street, sharing postcards,and it concluded with alarge-scale public event in Latvia, Riga, Andrejsala.

We also made a calendar, where it is possible to attach a specificimage - postcard to a specific month or even day. It was published in asmall edition, was given out to randomly metpeople and also toschoolchildren, so as to inspire them to great works.

This is one of postcards aninspiration to love work, to do it with joy, responsibility, motivation and apositive attitude, no matter what kind of work it is.

Inspiration to get rid ofbad habits, whatever one has... Dependence, a habit that harms mind and body,is not worth it to throw out money, lose friends or harm ones health. To dropa habit means to influence ones life, to change its interrelations, to feelhow body and spirit recover their strength...Clearly, sometimes it is veryhard, and inspiration is not enough... but maybe nevertheless? ;)

This is inspiration totravel. Each trip is laid down into memory with its feelings, taste, smells,knowledge, values, falling in love, romance, passion. With adventures andadrenalin or with carefree rest. One who has seen other cultures can deeperunderstand things, people and events around. Someone might find his own self.It is not necessary to be a millionaire to travel, real travelers do not seekcomfort, do not follow a route planned in detail. Sometimes a brave heart and agood company is enough. Travel, do travel! Travel. (hope I succeed in inspiringsomeone to do it..)

...To plant.
This is such an enjoyablefeeling. When some small, quiet tree, put into earth with two hands, wateredand encouraged, starts to Grow. Maybe it knows nothing about peoples duties,hurry, finances and problems. It just knows to sprout, to stretch out to thesun, to blossom. To become a tree, or a flower, or a bush, to ripen fruits andseeds, to breathe, to make oxygen, to give shadow, to rustle in the wind and tocolor in autumn.
This planet is our home,this little troubled earth sphere. But wouldnt it be so nice to live in afairy-tale blossoming garden? Plant a tree! You dont know where? Earth iscloser than you think.. :)

This is inspiration tomeet. We live in an era when communication has become digital, virtual andphysically removed. Maybe we need to more often meet friends, relatives andcompanions that we havent seen long ago, for a cup of tea or at some unusualplace? To see the signs that time has left on a familiar face, to feel howsmile warms up, how laughter invigorates and a glance tells life stories. Toembrace, to kiss on the cheeks, to shake hand or shoulder, to lift up in theair and to spin around, squealing like crazy...
So many long unseen want tomeet so many others long unseen. Maybe a little bit of inspiration will help toovercome laziness, turn off the computer and go to MEET.

. This is inspiration...to fall in love. This is about pulsating, vibrating feelings. About feelingsclose-up. About forgetting oneself. About giving. About our mightiest weapon,solution, energy, boldness...the most incomprehensible and the mostunderstandable state of existence... absolute, timeless, unifying and uncaughtin a moment, but giving meaning to all life. Love.

Inspiration to discardstereotypes. This postcard is about breaking stereotypes and breaking free, bypicturing pushing, familiar symbols-limits, masks and sheep. The goal is tomotivate everyone to not attach to their creative personality dogmas, inflow oftrends, mass thinking, not thinking at all, etc. It looks like the rulingelite wants just this, to slow down development of individualities to pollute peoples unconscious withpropaganda, manipulate with the word morals, stimulate spending,materialistic desires and self-insufficiency. Little by little we start to livein such greenish, mouldy, dirty world...

This postcard is aboutinspiration to meditate, to imagine, to dream, to seek...To sit on the side ofthe road and think about where it may lead, whether it leads the right way ormaybe it is time to turn around and go another way?

This is inspiration tolearn. All life is like school where we need to learn to be honest, lovingoneself and giving joy to others. During learning we find understanding for somany processes, a fine and so infinite web of cause and effect, in which thereare intertwined so many individualities paths of seeking and finding anddiscovery. Anyway, it is only good to develop oneself, there are Everests andholy grails in every area.

This is inspiration todance. I think that dance is liberation, in dance the soul flies. To dancemeans to find rhythm for ones feelings; every cell of the body vibrates,forgets gravity, pulsates and forgets itself in the rhythm, later to orderitself again, free and merry. Dancing single or in a big crowd is meditation,dancing with another is closeness and understanding without words. This isinspiration to dance.

This is inspiration toinspire. Because it is a chain reaction. The inspired are happy. These are thepeople to whom with fanatical ardour tell about their deeds, works and ideas.Those flying on the wings of inspiration see world with shining eyes and beamwith light.

This is inspiration tocreate. To be creative means to multiply, not to ruin. Creation is a godlyprocess, and everyone can be creative if chooses so. Because all the childrenare creative.
To create means to expressones existence and to leave trace in this space time and dimension. To addsomething to this world, to remain alive in ones works after passing away.
