To take the existing RE:Systems website and design the UI/UX for the tablet and mobile versions.
I made the decision to serve the same content as the desktop version to the mobile devices but to use CSS media queries to display it in a different way. All of the content on the main site is useful to the mobile user but due to the screen size differences it needs to be presented in a more user-friendly manner. I also added in device-specific buttons for example, instead of simply showing the address in the Contact Us area, I added an Add to Address Book button and also a View on Map / Get Directions button. This enables mobile users to quickly add data to their devices and / or get directions to the RE:Systems offices without having to jot down information manually.
I then took the liberty of designing a super-desktop version which effectively loaded a higher resolution version of the standard desktop version and included larger images in the masthead to cater for Retina, and other high resolution, displays.
This design was not implemented by RE:Systems.
