Photographic Essay

1. The story of life is something that is different for everyone; every person has their own path and memories of their life, so I thought telling a story of someone would be interesting, as people spiral into life and constantly pushing boundries
2. The moral of the story is to be constantly expanding and evolving yourself, whether its your decisions or your mindset, we all grow and become more as we become older. In other words, don't live a vanilla life, try new things and when you look back that those things (the last picture), life will seem colorful.
3. I started by establishing a first-person narrative - each photo is through the eyes of the person who is going through life. Next, I thought of things that people do for the first time in life, or something that's adventurous and leaves a great memory. Lastly, I made the earliest photos very neutral in color, black and white; as the person spirals out, the more colorful the pictures became.
4. While trying to think of memories of my own life, I began to remember the first time playing with my dog, or playing soccer, or driving by myself. These memories is what makes life complete and the only reason they are memorable at all, is the significance of those events. I learned to take risks and live open-mindedly, free thinking will lead to a unique pathway only I can have.
