Traditional Chinese Dessert Cookbook

The Chinese traditional dessert, called GuoDian in Chinese, is served with tea after meals. Besides GuoDian, Chinese people like eating different types of desserts during different festivals and seasons. For example, they enjoy eating moon cakes to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Chinese people also like having soup in the cold weather.

The cookbook has a conceptual approach, using the slogan: ‘Seasonal Homemade Chinese Dessert Recipes for Daily Life’. The cookbook has four parts, and each part is printed with seasonal plants to represent the four seasons. The traditional elements used for each layout are to provide a traditional feeling to readers. The colour scheme used is yellow, which is created by the texture of traditional Chinese paper.
