There are lots of plain surface in every room. The wall, the table, the mirror, the ceiling, and so on. Sometimes, they are put in use, but mostly, they just stay there doing nothing. However, in your home, you will spend a lot of time close to them. Wherever direction you look to while you handle your chores or take a rest, there will be some surface around you. Would not it be nice to be able to make the best use out of them?

Even if you already have a smart home and applications and control panels linked to it, sometimes you just don't want to bother having to find and turn on your phone, or moving your body all the way to the panel.  What if the control panels, and any information you want can just be delivered to right in front of you, no matter where you are standing?  

'Smart Surface', Eggy is composed of motion sensor and laser projection device that can be installed indoors. One projector will cover a range of one room. It basically projects lined infographics about whatever the users will ask for in single colour. When the user talks to it, the sensor will automatically notice where the user is standing, and give projections to the nearest plain surface in the room.
