This book illustrated and showcased the usage of Maglish (Malay+English Language) in Malaysia. The usage of Manglish helps us communicate quickly and locally, instead of forming complete sentence. Also, it's a common language that binds us Malaysians together as a language that's ingrained.
The booklet comes with a total of 5 languages including Malay, Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese and lastly, the Tamil language which comes together to create a quirky mix which will challenge even the most savvy linguist. This book is easy for the non Malaysian to pick up the Manglish skills as it teaches steps by steps.
Manglish is an enjoyable, informal and down-to-earth form of communication for every day speech among Malaysians. They are especially tickled if non-Malaysian pick up some Manglish when conversing with them as they know it takes real effort to understand when and how to use Manglish appropriately.
