This piece was a title for an alliteration book that I had to illustrate. Each page in the book contains a word and an illustration that relates to the title of the book. My book contains words that are describe or are related to the Colosseum, hence the title of my book "C is for Colosseum". For the title, I chose to illustrate aspects of a battle scene that were common to the Colosseum, and added plants on the side for decorative qualities that represented the plants that started to grow in the center after it was not used for entertainment.
