The Production Process
This project was created for my motion capture class at USC with my superb dancer friend Satori Folkes-Stone. We first recorded her performance at the MoCap volume in Robert Zemeckis Center. Then, I retargeted the recorded data to a base mesh that will drive the effects simulations I envisioned for the piece. I layout the camera moves in Maya and implemented the effect sims based on her performance, and rendered out the animation. I then composited all the different render passes in Adobe After Effects and added on additional particle effects, and used Photoshop for creating the title cards.
