Paragraph 1: In 1954, Ray Kroc, a seller of Prince Castle brand Multimixer milkshake
machines, learned that the McDonald’s brothers were using eight of his machines in
their San Bernardino restaurant, and opened his first mcDonald’s restaurant in 1955.
McDonald’s is most active on twitter when looking at social media, this is most likely
because their target demographic is millennials and young people in general, and twitter
is where most millenials go for news and entertainment. McDonalds was described as
having a “cafeteria feel” to it in the past but have since switched out for a more modern
design to change with the times and attract the younger generation.

Paragraph 2: I chose this brand because it is a transnational corporation that affects the
world on all levels. They have an impact socially, economically, and even politically.
They provide cheap options for food, which can be useful especially for families that are
struggling. Their advertising is effective because they combine a need with a want, all
while being accessible for virtually anyone. I feel that I choose my interests because I
have niche taste.
