Usability Testing of Cashbac App
Cashbac is an application that give benefits for users to get cashback from purchases in merchants that already working with Cashbac. Through this application, cashback earned by user will be accumulated and become the balance stored in Cashbac App. This balance can be used for payments when user makes a transaction.
Project Purpose
1. To find out how user (based on persona) interact with Cashbac App.
2. To test the new user, is they can complete steps in Registration, Explore, Add Payment Method and Transaction using QRPay or Tap-to-Pay.
3. Looking for additional information that can be used to fix and develop next Cashbac App.
Usability Testing Preparation
Before doing the test, there are some things that need to prepare.
1. Choose Location
Cashbac has a lot merchant arround Jakarta and each merchant only provide one payment method, using QR or Tap-to-Pay. Because of that, first of all we need to choose the right location to conduct the test.
2. Tester Screening
We do this screening based on persona data from Cashbac team. Besides of that, in this screening we also looking for availability from tester to visit the location that we've choose. Because Jakarta is one of city with heavy traffic.
3. Create Testing Scenario
Testing scenario is really important. So when we doing the test will be accordance with the goal.
4. Arrange Task and Question List

We doing testing to 6 users. Also my team collaborate with Cashbac designer to observe what user doing during the test.
Define the Problems
In this step, we use card sorting to find the pattern that emerge from the result of usability testing with tester.
After we processing the data, we found some things that are critical enough and become stopper for user. Besides of that, we found mindset that formed in Casbac users that Cashbac is an e-commerce app like T*k*p*dia and etc. And some people think that Cashbac is G*-F**d competitors.
