Art Farm | Red Shed Video Lounge
Marquette, Nebraska 2008

In 2007 we remodeled a 100-year old farm shed with a smooth, foam-lined interior to become a video art gallery. The interior surface challenges users to find their own mode of inhabitation - one can sit in an area formed for upright sitting or lie on the soft floor - or find any position in between. We temporarily installed this structure in the Sheldon Museum of Art in Lincoln, NE (Phillip Johnson, 1963) as the focal point of our exhibition, Art Farm at Sheldon, a major museum show that ran from January through April 2008. The Shed is now a mobile new media center at Art Farm.
