Go with the flow
- a renewable textile collection
Intregrating waste material and adding values to prod- ucts by modern design.
Because this will not only create awareness about the traditional weaving patterns but also sustain our environment.
Nan textiles display a mixture of the weaving cultures of the Tai Lue.
The most popular Thai textile is invented by this tribe, which called “ Nam-Lai”.
The original patterns look like water flowing, hence the name Lai Nam Lai, which means literally that.
Due to the globalization, new generations in this tribe tend to forget about their own heritage and culture,
thus this unique textile is at risk to be vanished in our near future.
“Go with the flow” collection is the idea of developing traditional culture into modern and practical products.
“Go with the flow” collection integrates Sustainability ( as using 100% recycled polyester fibre from PET bottles) and cultural heritage textile pattern ( as modernized Nam-lai pattern).
Partnership with Indorama Inc. Thailand who provides 100% PET recycled fabric
for this project.
