Duchamp and his Dadaism is the primary inspiration for this work. I used Duchamp’s roto reliefs to be the cover of my book: it is a cordoned, colored, spiral-patterned disk the artist designed to create a three-dimensional visual effect when spun. Textual and photographic elements swivel around the center axis of each page, echoing the books design and reinforcing the center balance of the spinning roto reliefs.
