    Philosophy in the Public Interest covers a broad range of activities, woven together by the discussions held during or after an event. PPI deals with the outstanding issues of the day and of our lives: current events, government, religion… often divisive issues and always those on which people have strong opinions. It is modeled after classic Greek forums, creating an arena where people can express their opinions, listen to other's opinions, issues can be considered and often resolved in a non confrontative and respectful atmosphere. The challenge was to create a logo and a related series of 'sub' logos that represented philosophy, harkened back to ancient Greece and the roots of philosophy, was both classic and modern, and had an 'arty' feel. This is what I came up with. Subsequently PPI requested designs and templates for posters, flyers, email blasts, a business card, a rack card, etc. Read Less
