Nick and Dani's Campy Wedding: Invitation, Website

Because a designer needs to have fun sometimes.
Completely personal project, for my upcoming nuptials (September 25th, 2010). The theme came from two things. The first was our idea to have our wedding at a summer camp - both for cost reasons and because both of us cringe at the idea of hotels and reception facilities. The second was from a joke I made on twitter after finding what I originally believed to be my wedding dress. The dress was bright blue (i.e. Cyan), and I made the joke: "since my wedding dress is Cyan, would it be incredibly nerdy if I made my wedding colors CMYK?" The instant reply from many of my friends was: "yes, it would be incredibly nerdy - nerdy and AWESOME!"

So there you go. The format is a play on invitations that I've done before - I love the foldover style because it allows you to create visual interest while using paper efficiently.  Project was printed short-run digital on French Modtone Azure and French Modtone Pink. Envelopes are PaperSource Persimmon, which I've also used as the envelopes for my personal thank you cards, etc.

I'm thinking of, as a party favor, making small notebooks with the Modtone Pink and a pile of leftover Fox River Confetti paper that I've had in my house forever.

Overview of the invitation. The details are on the inside panel.
