‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ has opened on broadway and I got to illustrate this double feature for the Theater section of the @nytimes . The editors wanted to focus on the audience reactions rather than the play itself, we decided that a sequential approach would work best. I was able to even write some of the speech bubbles! Plus a sidebar illustration at the end from critic Elisabeth Vincentelli, who did not enjoy the play one bit (reviewing it from POV of someone who is not familiar with the Potter universe).
