In my free time I often experiment with techniques of combining my fine art illustration and analog printmaking techniques into the digital graphic world. As a multimedia artist layering the mediums that I work in allows me to use them together in the hopes of creating a more distinct visual language to speak through.

For this project I was approached by a some creatives working on Kesha's 2018 concert tour. They had come across one of my visual experiments and asked if I could use that visual language to create motion graphic loops that went with the theme of landing on an alien world.

To achieve these visuals I used scans of paper marbling ink textures I've been making as apart of my studio practice and images sourced from NASA and other space imagery databases as landscapes for creating abstract world-like Spheres. After Effects was used to animate and loop the textures that were then brought into Cinema 4D to displace them as landscapes on spheres. The final pieces were then looped and graded in Premiere Pro.

I was recently hit by a car and spent a few weeks in the hospital, In that time i thought back on comments/suggestions id gotten and decided to make a piece based on the unexpected change to my summer plans while experimenting with the same techniques I used on the Kesha project. I was fortunate enough to have a window at my bedside, with a view mainly of other rooms windows and the reflections of the city that bounced off them. I gathered drone footage I've been shooting over the past few months along with scans of the ink illustrations I used for the kesha project and created organic forms in after effects. I place these forms in various locations I used to frequent.
