ANDREA · An App from Scratch

ANDREA · An App from Scratch
—

From the collaboration of different players, Scuola Mohole, Siph Lab and D/DOCK, the ‘ANDREA’ project
came to life, an app that renovates the purchasing experience in the store with the help of technology.
Addressed to Scuola Mohole’s graphic designer students, the project included the creation of a brand identity,
the UX/UI design of the app, the communication campaign planning and the presentation of the entire development of the project during Milan Design Week 2018.
In the chaotic world with which we have to interact nowadays, people become more and more keen on optimizing time and resources. Therefore the idea of saving time and money brings the user to stay in his house’s comfort, comparing hundreds of brands, clothes and prices directly on their own smartphone’s screen.
From this comes the need for a link between the user and the operator, something that can be defined
There is a significant number of users ready to rediscover the latter sensation, as long as attracted
in store with a well planned strategy.
// manifesto
When we thought about the brand identity, we started thinking about ANDREA as a bubble, a jellyfish, something that moves, that can adapt to different situations, something that can align to everyone personal fashion style.
Feel free to try ANDREA!

At the Milan Design Week 2018, one of the most important design event known internationally,
we presented the application project for ANDREA, the development and the process of achieving.
We planned a guerrilla marketing on the streets of Milan and we handled the setting up of the area,
designing a series of promotional and explanatory posters of the project.
thank you!
