of a word, group of words or phrase and show where it
came from – its provenance – how and when it became
part of the English language and how its meaning
My chosen word or words were Brothel Creepers, I have been recently interested in buying shoes/trainers (not good) and decided to dedicate my project around tracing the history of the 'brothel creepers' a shoe which I found intriguing.
The booklet goes over the origin of the brothel creepers and then into the history of the company George Cox.
